A moonstone pendant for a rustic wedding

We were thrilled to see one of our customers featured on Whimsical Wonderland Weddings blog recently.

Bride Kate looked gorgeous in an elegant dress from Perfect Day Bridal, complemented with our Bay necklace and earrings.

With such a classic, beautifully cut dress, Kate's choice of elegant, unfussy jewellery was perfect, the drop of the moonstone pendant echoing the low V of her neckline.  Moonstone is a popular choice for modern brides, as the stones have a natural, organic feel and are believed to bring good luck.

As Kate and Chris had a relaxed, glamping wedding at Manor Farm in Hampshire, the tables were dressed with hops and wheatsheafs, in keeping with the rustic theme.

And the abundant bouquet was made by Kate's mum.

Thoughtful, imaginative touches included this ideas for putting messages for Kate and Chris in a bottle, for them to open and read on their first anniversary.

Finally, I can't resist sharing a picture of their delicious-looking semi-naked wedding cake.  Beautifully and tastefully adorned, like everything else at their wedding, it looks like a cake that's made for eating, not just for looking at.

It means so much to us to make jewellery for a bride's wedding day - and we love to see the photos!  Do share your photos with us, or tag us #honeywillowbride
