#meetthemaker - Iona

Iona joined Honey Willow in August this year. She grew up in London and the Artisan quarter of Walcot Street where Honey Willow is based reminds her of school days in Marylebone and the window displays of the Conran Shop and Diptique, which she passed between lessons. There was always something to look at. This cheered her up during the dead of winter and made her dream of having her own Scandi apartment filled with candles!

She has recently returned to the UK from Patagonia where she had been working as a mountain guide after graduating. (One long-term dream fulfilled: working with horses and practising her Spanish!) Moving to Bath just as the country went into a national lockdown was a dramatic change and she says she feels lucky to have joined the friendly community at Honey Willow.

Favourite Honey Willow jewellery:

"The silver sapphire anniversary necklace is my favourite. Sapphire and silver is such a winning combination and I think 45 years of marriage is such an impressive achievement!"

 Favourite jewellery to give:

"I would love to give my sister, Harriet, the four petite mixed metal necklace. There are only two of us, but I think there is something rather elegant about the four circles sitting together and maybe the other two rings could represent our tabby cats Cobweb and Cassie!"

Favourite part of working at Honey Willow:

"Honey Willow is such an exciting place to work. Everyone is full of energy and ideas, and I love learning in such a creative environment."
