Our new range of bridal jewellery

We love a wedding photo-shoot here at Honey Willow!  It’s the culmination of weeks of designing and making new jewellery - and it gives us the perfect opportunity to choose wedding dresses and commission gorgeous flowers!
Our 2018 range of bridal jewellery has been inspired by the ongoing trend for delicate layering, mixed up with a few bold, standout pieces.
Many of our latest bridal designs are relaxed and informal (a bit like us) and are inspired by the natural beauty and history of Bath.
This range of jewellery has been a team effort.  Beth designed the Margeurite flower necklace and earrings, intricately wire-wrapped flower jewellery which picks up on the 2018 wedding trend for a touch of black.
My eleven year old daughter Honey designed the Eirlys (Welsh for snowdrop) backdrop necklace, which was originally inspired by Roman jewellery.
We made a bracelet and necklace inspired by jewellery worn by Jane on her own wedding day.  The blue topaz makes it perfect for a bride looking for something blue.
We welcomed back photographer Egle and make-up artist Lisa.  Gorgeous model Claire gamely allowed us to have fun playing dress-up with her - she was also up for lots of cuddles with April the over-excited pug puppy.
The beautiful bouquet and hair-corsage were by Liz at Pipley Flowers, who grows her own flowers just outside Bath.
As this photo-shoot was during the school holidays, it was a great opportunity to show my children what goes on behind the scenes.  They were able to see for themselves how much expert make up, lighting, photography and retouching goes into producing these beautiful images.  And beneath the lovely dresses are jeans, trainers and often a hot water bottle or two.  And there always seems to be a rubbish bin which needs to be cropped out of the shot!  Nothing is as polished as it seems and I'm really grateful my children got to see that.
We've just started adding the new jewellery to our website, so there is plenty more to come.  Keep an eye on our facebook and instagram pages for updates as we add each new piece.
We've had great fun creating and styling this range of jewellery and we can't wait to see our bridal customers styling and wearing these pieces at their own weddings!  Don't forget to tag us #honeywillowbrides
